Birthday Weekend!!!

Guess What? It was birthday this weekend! YAY!!! Friday I had my 8th grade formal. It was so much fun. I loved my dress and I loved when all my friends get in one big circle, dance our heart out, and scream the lyrics on the top of our lungs. I tried to curl my hair, but even though I left my hair in hot rollers for an hour and a half, it still didn't curl. It was hilarious, two guys , Sean S. and Tyler T., dressed up in tuxedoes and bow ties. One was orange and the other was blue. Then they wore name tags that said "Dumb", and ", Dumber". Then after the dance, I had 11 girls over to my house for my birthday party. It was wild and so much fun. When 3 of them left, they forgot something and came back. They didn't ring the doorbell and just walked right in. My mom went up to see who it was 'cause we only heard the door open and they popped around the corner yelling at my mom and scared her half to death. It was hilarious. Then another 3 of them spent the night. It was a blast. The best part of my b-day was that I got an ipod. OMG! My friend Kayla had been listening to her itunes on our computer Friday so when I loaded my $15 music card on, it went into her account, it was a huge mess, but we fixed it.

Recital

OMG!!! Recital was so much fun. I was a little bit mad that we had to be there early in the morning to practice, but it wasn't that horrible. My mom did this dance in the recital that the parents do every year, but usually it is just the dads, but this year they added the moms. My dad was going to do it, but the last time that he tried, he couldn't move for a week.
Usually I'm known for having my shoe come flying off in the middle of the routine. This year I seriously tried to keep it on and I didn't think that it was going to happen up until the third recital. In the very beginning of the first dance I did a tilt kick, my shoe came off. WHAT A SURPRISE!!!
For finale this year our theme was "Rockn' Roll". We got so into it. We wore black chokers, frizzed our hair, and Tucker even put his hair in a mohawk. It was hilarious and so much fun. I can't wait till next year.
(maybe next year we'll tape my shoe on, hahahahehehe)
