Talent Show, Car Problems, and Florida!

Today was hectic. At school, we had a talent show and I was in two events. It's really neat to see all of my friends talents that I never even knew they had. Then since we were missing a car and my mom can't drive a stick, my dad drove us everywhere. It turns out that the only problems with the car was that we were out of gas and the gas gage was a quarter tank off. We were freaking out, I don't know why it took all day to figure out that there was know gas. So now we get to go to Florida on time and safe. I can't believe that we are leaving tomorrow, I'm so excited. I have to go so that I can pack.

Car Problems!

Today, we went to see our grandparents for Christmas since we'll be in Florida. On the way there our car went dead on the side of the road. All of us are ok, but my mom was freaking out a little. My parents are still waiting at the car for a tow truck to come.The worst thing is that we are leaving for our trip to Florida and DisneyWorld Wednesday morning. The funny thing about this is that just an hour before we left the house, my mom had gone to jiffy lube for our trip to make sure that everything was ok. They said everything was fine, so they must have done something to it.

I'll post later about what happens to the car and if we are going on our trip.

Romeo and Juliet

In English, we have been reading Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. For our project, we got into groups and reacted a scene but in a different era. My group reacted the scene where the two star-crossed lovers killed themselves for eachother. We chose the 80's era. It took place at a concert for Romeo's band. Romeo thought that Juliet (me) died in a mosh pit so he jumps off of the speakers and ontop of a fan with a spiky mullet. The mullet's spikes cut and impale him. As he dies his last words are,"GAG ME WITH A SPOON!" Then Juliet pushes her way through the crowd to find Romeo dead. Then she cuts herself on the mullet and eventually bleeds out to death. I would just like everybody to know that I did not write this, but our class thought it was hilarious. The part that everybody thought was hilarious was when Romeo fell on the fans mullet and all the fan said was," BODACIOUS!"

Busy Bee!!

Today was busy, busy, busy. This morning I had two performances downtown. It was really comical when 13 girls ,each with a baton, are shoved into a tiny area and then had to toss them to eachother. Well, after that I went shopping, which gave me only an hour to get ready for my next event of the day. At five o'clock we had the dedication of our new church. It was really neat with the bishop there and everything, but it was also really long. In the middle of the mass someone an isle over threw up all over the new pew. Then she went to got to the bathroom and threw up in the isle. Just what we need, the spread of the flu. Anyway, now I'm here at home, babysitting my brothers while my parents are at a Christmas party. All I have to do now is wait for the pizza guy to get here.

CRASH!!!

Today was an early out for our schools. At the bus stop, my friends kept kicking snow up on eachother and pushing people in the snow. I was the first victim. I had snow up and down my legs, but it's ok 'cause I payed them back. Well anyway. On the bus ride home we were on a rode that the trucks hadn't sanded so as we were turning we slid right into a van with three kids in it. They weren't hurt, but I'm sure they were scared. So we had to wait for the police to get there before any of us could leave. I would have walked, but my house wasn't in walking distance. Even though the accident wasn't a good thing, I thought it was hilarious in an ironic kind of way. You have to admit that you wouldn't expect public school bus to almost tear your door off. I can just imagine the headlines,"Killer buses, Beware!"

Secret Santa!

This year my friends and I are doing secret santa. Last year, I had my best friend Kate. This year I have my other best friend Kelsey. I know what you're thinking. Why am I typing this if it is suppost to be a secret, but she found out. I don't know who my secret santa is but, I still haven't gotten a present, but we have two weeks. I am glad that I got my best friends two years in a row.

23 More Days Till Christmas!

I am so excited for Christmas. This year, my family is taking our first vacation to DisneyWorld in Florida. I am excited of course, but I will miss being at the usual family gatherings. What I will miss the most is waking up Christmas morning. I still get to decorate though.

Clique Feud!

Today, two of my friends got in a feud. Neither one will talk to the other or even apologize. It ended up starting a bunch of little fights. This made lunch hilarious. Well, all my friends eat at this one big table, but we usually sit at one end. Today, there was six people sitting on one end and six on the other. Then there was four of us that sat inbetween them. We called ourselves the Peace Corp. Our motto was,"We want peace, don't make us choose." Our plan to get our clique back together didn't exactly work, but it really was fun coming up the motto(more like a chant). Until later we are two groups united by four people.
